Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Rev. Taylor monhollen, Senior Pastor

Pastor Taylor is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene ('22). He was saved during a Vacation Bible Service when he was roughly 7 years old. During this time his grandmother was addicted to drugs, and the family was very unsettled. While listening to the VBS workers talk about salvation and eternal peace something spoke to Pastor Taylor. Although he was a very young child, he knew that he had sinned and could feel that he needed a Savior and peace in his life. When the workers called for those who would like to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, Pastor Taylor walked down the aisle. He met with, what he remembers to be, a middle-aged man. This man talked to him about salvation and how it is possible that we can obtain such a gift. Pastor Taylor told the man that he wished for nothing more than to have his sins washed clean, have peace in his life, and to know where he would spend eternity. The man prayed with Pastor Taylor and that day he accepted the Lord into his life. As time went by he was in and out of church. It was not until just after his junior year in high school that he began to faithfully attend church. It was on a Sunday morning in December that he felt the Lord call out to him. God has called Pastor Taylor to be His servant as a pastor. He fought this calling for about a year and a half, but finally realized that you cannot fight and expect to win the battle when you are fighting the one who created you. He turned himself and his life over to the Lord, and he asked that God work his will and way in his life. Pastor Taylor graduated from Nazarene Bible College in May, 2019 with a Bachelors of Arts in Ministry. He majored in Pastoral Leadership with a minor in Leadership and Ethics.

Pastor Taylor joined Heartland Nazarene in September of 2020.
